Beautiful sermon David on grace in our vocations. It surprises younger people sometimes that there are, indeed, enemies at work. In a town whose business is power, it gets vicious, destructive, and very sneaky. I found the Psalms about enemies to help so much in those days. Stopping to pray for help, for wisdom, for grace, may be the most “practical” advice I’d give any young Christian in Washington. We are completely dependent on God and everything else is an illusion. It takes hardship and suffering to teach that to us and the daily battles are among those. Thank you.
