Well, hello there. Welcome to Restoration.
We’re a group of people who worship together, pray together, serve together, and live day-to-day life together. We believe that church is community. It’s more than just a place to show up on a Sunday; it’s the messiness of real life. When people are connecting to God and experiencing what it means to be loved, forgiven, healed, and empowered by Jesus Christ through the Holy Spirit, church is happening. Above all, church is a foretaste of God’s Kingdom—a day when all that is broken will be healed, all that is incomplete will be made whole, all that is old will be made new. A day of Restoration.
Our worship on Sundays is the heart of our life together. We sing, we pray, we listen to a sermon, and we share the Eucharist. It may look a little formal, but it’s energetic, un-stodgy, and life-giving. We promise.

We love spending time together. We meet in small groups around the city, we serve those in need around us, we talk and eat and pray and laugh. There are lots of ways to connect to the Restoration community.

What We Believe
We believe that the gospel changes everything and that God calls us to live lives of radical dependence and love as we follow Jesus. We are a church in the Anglican tradition, and we delight in Anglicanism’s commitment to being biblically grounded, historically rooted, and globally connected. We belong to the Diocese of the Mid-Atlantic in the Anglican Church in North America.
