It’s not about you. In a good way.

Outreach—praying for and serving some of the most vulnerable people in our community and around the world—is a key part of who we are and what we do as Restoration. We want everyone to be involved. Lots of people in our church give their time and energy to projects or organizations that they’re passionate about. We love that.

As a church, we’ve also formed partnerships with a group of organizations that we are committed to supporting through prayer, service, and finances. If you’re looking for a place to plug in with outreach, we have a variety of opportunities. There is sure to be one that’s right for you. Here are a couple of ways you can get involved right now:

  • AFAC farmers’ market runs: On Sundays in the summer, Restoration sends teams to gather leftover produce from the Sunday morning Columbia Pike farmers’ market and package it for distribution at AFAC. Contact us (choose “Outreach” from the drop-down menu) if you’d like to get involved.
  • Pray: Pray for our neighbors, for the people and organizations with whom we partner, for persecuted Christians around the world.  Ask Liz for more details.
  • Outreach Planning Team: This is an open group that meets several times a year to plan outreach activities for the church.  Watch the worship guide for details.

Take a look at our Outreach Guide to learn about the people and programs we support. Want to know more about getting involved in outreach? Fill out this form and Liz Gray will get in touch with you. Still have questions? Contact us—just fill out the form and choose “Outreach” from the drop-down menu.
