Rock Recovery / Christie Dondero

Rock Recovery supports the journey to freedom from disordered eating through affordable and accessible individual recovery and community empowerment programs. As a faith-based nonprofit organization, Rock Recovery envisions a world where eating disorders are understood and the journey to freedom is fully supported.

Restoration member Christie Dondero, who herself struggled with and eventually made a full recovery from an eating disorder, serves as president of Rock Recovery. Her goal is to grow the organization’s programs and increase its capacity to serve more people in desperate need of their services.

In addition to her work with Rock Recovery, Christie has led a Restoration small group based on the New ID course, a program that encourages people who are struggling with disordered eating by helping them discover and grown in their identity in Christ.
