Wm_Retreat_EdgeAt Restoration, there are many ways for women to get to know one another and wrestle with the issues pertinent to our lives as followers of Christ living in the D.C. metro area. We gather on Tuesday evenings several times during the year to hear teaching and share our stories around a topic of particular interest, and we have an annual retreat in February. We hope you will join us — and bring friends!

Ways to Get Involved

RestoWomen: Tuesday Evenings

IMG_4350At the heart of RestoWomen on Tuesday evenings (3rd Tuesday of the month) is the idea that we are women who want our stories to be in line with God’s heart and not defined by a script from the expectations of our context and our culture.

Past sessions have included discussions about singleness, our sexuality, vocation, busyness, mentoring, our bodies, and fathers – as well as an evening of creativity and liturgy. Most sessions have included some introductory remarks or teaching, followed by 3-4 courageous women who share about their journeys and their understanding of God. These evenings are always rich and encouraging in many unique – and often unexpected – ways.

RestoWomen: The Retreat

We hold an annual retreat, and next year the dates are February 8-10, 2019. All women are warmly invited to come – and bring a friend! Register today.

Additional Women’s Gatherings: fall & spring

Want to get to know other women in smaller groups beyond the Sunday service? These gatherings are designed to accomplish exactly that! Twice a year, we (usually!) offer rounds of one-time gatherings where women meet up for coffee, dessert, brunch, dinner, or even a hike – to get to know one another.
