Erin,
I’m writing to let you know how God is using you and David, in my life. I’ve been so encouraged by listening to the Restoration sermons online. Three days ago I clicked on the Esther serries. BAM! The message on Freedom must have be written just for me. I’ve listened to it 3 times in 2 days. It’s as if God reached down through your mouth and the miracle of the internet, and touched a very dark place in my heart . A place I’ve not allowed anyone into in years.
I have been living in a “prison” of isolation from the world, literally. After getting put on disability at work, I lost my entire life…work. You see, work is everything in our family, without a job you are lower than a lowly worm.
I was so depressed that i just decided to go offline to everyone and everything in my life. It hurt too badly to let people see me and my pride built a wall of shame and guilt, brick by brick every day.
. Long story short, its been 2 years since i went “under”. That Sunday when you and Andrew prayed with me after church, the wall of my cell began to crack.
So please know that God is speaking powerfully through your online ministry.
People must have all kinds of “prisons” they are stuck in.
I thank God for you and David. Your online sermons have been a light in a very dark soul . Thanks for bringing the light to me.,
Barbara Thompson
