Last week’s worship guide announcements

  1. Today is the last day to register for fall small groups. Small groups are probably the easiest way to get plugged in here at Restoration. Head to the front page of our website to sign up! Contact Nathan Dickerson ( with questions.
  2. Parish Meeting today after the 11: We are having a parish meeting today after the 11am service. All are invited and encouraged to attend! We’ll serve pizza for lunch. We hope to see you there!
  3. No church on Quincy St next Sunday, October 13: We will not be having any services here at Restoration next Sunday, Oct. 13 as we will be returning that afternoon from our fall retreat.
  4. RestoMen Kickoff this Tuesday: We want to invite all the men of Restoration to come to the RestoMen Kickoff this Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 7:30-9pm at the church. We are having a cookout and a bonfire! This is a great opportunity to connect with other guys at church. Please join us!
  5. All Saints Day is November 3: If a loved one has died in the past year and you would like them to be honored in our All Saints slideshow on Sunday, Nov. 3, please go to and fill out the form.
  6. RestoWomen meets on October 15: On Tuesday, Oct. 15, we will learn about centering prayer, hear testimony from some women who’ve tried it out, and practice it a bit ourselves. Centering prayer is a form of contemplative prayer seeking to quiet our hearts in Christ’s presence. Reach out to Beth ( if you have any questions.
  7. Silent Soaking Prayer: Silent Soaking Prayer on Saturday night, Oct. 26, in the Fellowship Hall from 7:30-9pm. Enter into a quiet, restful space where you can be still and prayerful before the Lord. Come and go as needed. Prayer ministers will silently pray for you.
  8. Neighborhood Service Project: Have you heard the news? We are turning 10 in November and we want to celebrate by saying thank you to our neighbors! Save-the-date for a kid-friendly park clean up project at nearby Cherry Valley Park on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9am-1pm. More details to follow!
  9. Navigators 20s 30s Brunch: On Saturday, Oct. 12 at 10:30am, Navigators will explore how can we use visual media to reveal big truths about our world to spark curiosity about God. Come for free food and discussion with new and old friends. Filmmaker Kevin Hackenberg will be our speaker. Contact Anne ( for more info.
  10. Keep up with Restoration! You can follow our Facebook page, (search “Restoration Anglican Church” on Facebook) and even follow our brand new Instagram: @restorationarlington. We’re so excited to share more about our church with you!
  11. Clergy Emergency Contact Number: This is a way for you to contact one of our clergy if you have any sort of pastoral emergency. Text or call 571.766.6495 to get through to one of them right away.
