The Persecuted Church

We recognize that in this country, we enjoy remarkable freedom to worship and to live out our faith as we please. We also recognize that millions of our brothers and sisters around the world do not enjoy that same freedom. And so we are committed to praying for the individuals and communities who face harassment, ostracization, and loss of life and property for their commitment to Christ and his gospel.

Barnabas Aid is an organization that provides hope and relief to the persecuted church. Among other activities, they publish a bi-monthly prayer guide that assists us in praying for our Christian brothers and sisters. We are proud to make these guides available to the Restoration community.

The Anglican Relief and Development Fund (ARDF) partners with the global church to meet the needs of the poorest of the poor. It’s a true partnership where the local church takes the lead, and we support the local church in ministry. Significant relief efforts in 2015 included providing shelter to refugees fleeing ISIS in Iraq, helping refugees fleeing the crisis in Syria, and providing for basic needs of refugees in the still-ongoing conflict in Sudan.
