Nursery Care: Two Years Old and Younger
- Our children engage in free-play with toys, music, and stories and are lovingly cared for by adult volunteers.
- Enroll your child in nursery care.
Children’s Church: Three Years Old Through Fifth Grade
- They begin the morning in the sanctuary in worship with their families.
- After the opening acclamation and worship, they are excused to Sunday School.
- The pastor’s dismissal and the children’s cross held by one of our leaders is the sign to the children that it is time for Sunday School.
- The children head downstairs for Children’s Church which involves a Bible teaching, prayer, and worship.
- Children are then dismissed to small groups led by volunteer shepherds. The small groups are divided by age/grade (3- to 5-year olds; K-2nd grade; 3rd-5th grade.)
- Within each small group, children and their shepherd leaders discuss the Bible teaching, play games, and/or do a craft.
- The children and their shepherds return to the service in time for us all to share in the Holy Eucharist.
