The Institution of Rector and Vestry

Please join us this Sunday for a very special service of worship and celebration. We will institute the ministry of our church as an official member of the Anglican District of VA.

Basically, we’re going to have a big party, cheer, sing, hug, give gifts, and high-five because of what God has done over the last year. We are so excited and we’d love for you to join us.  Bring an appetite, a full voice, and a joyful heart.

Where will the institution take place?

We love to be together and we need a space that can hold all of us, so we are renting the Hilton Arlington located at 950 N. Stafford Street Arlington, VA 22203.  There will not be services on Quincy Street this week.

What time will the institution take place?

Our one service will be at 10am with a reception following.  But come early because there will be coffee and pastries beforehand as well.

What should I do with my kids?

Bring them!  There will be a fully-staffed nursery for all the little ones who are 2 years of age and under.  Everybody else is invited to the service.  We want everyone to be a part of this special day.  We will have activity books for the kids.  Plan on at least a 90 minute service with communion.

How should I travel to the institution?

• Metro: The hotel is located directly above the Ballston-MU stop on the Metro’s Orange Line.
• Car: There is limited, free street parking near the hotel, which is at the intersection of N. Stafford St. and Fairfax Blvd. in Ballston.

Ballston Common Mall Parking Garage

This is a public parking garage that is adjacent to the Ballston Common Mall. The garage has two entrances, one on N. Glebe Rd. and the other on Randolph St.  Try to park on garage level G3 and enter the mall on Mall Level 2. Walk across the mall.  The sky walk to The Hilton Arlington is in between FYE Electronics and Footlocker.  It provides a covered walk to the Hotel.  Follow Metro signs.  Hotel entrance will be on your right.  It is less than a 5 minute indoor walk from parking to hotel. Sunday parking is $1.00/day.

Ballston Metro Parking Garage (Laz /Hilton Arlington Parking)
Ballston Metro Parking Garage is a public garage located directly beneath the Hilton Arlington. The entrance is on Stafford Street, adjacent to the hotel entrance. The garage elevator will take guests directly to the lobby. Parking rates are:
0 – 1 hour: $4.00
1 – 2 hours: $7.00
2 – 12 hours: $8.00
