Election day Eucharist
Next Tuesday evening, we will hold a special Eucharist service for Election Day. A number of churches around the country will be doing this, and I’m excited that Restoration is one of them.
No matter what your political leanings, praying for our nation and our leaders is something we are all called to do (1 Tim 2:1-2). And on a day when we will name some people winners and others losers, when the pull toward power will be felt especially strongly, it is good to come together in common submission and supplication to God, to remind ourselves that He is God and we are not, and to ask for His wisdom and guidance for our leaders — whoever they may be.
So join us at our regular Tuesday evening prayer time — 7:30 pm — as we worship our King and pray for our nation.

I love that the Restoration community unites under the banner of Christ. Definitely looking forward to celebrating the Eucharist together on Nov. 6th.
