Thankfully yours…
A letter to Restoration:
My dear friends,
One of the happiest moments of last night for me was at the Peace, turning around having been ordained and blessed by Bishop Guernsey and seeing so many people that I love smiling at me, and conscious of the prayers, encouragement and love of so many who could not be with us. I am grateful to each one of you for the way you have walked with me over the last few years. I am so grateful too, to be staying on at Restoration as an Associate Pastor.
But most of all I am grateful to God: who has pursued me, loved me and so often surprised me with his generosity and grace. As we head into 2013 I pray that every day you might be similarly conscious of being pursued, loved and surprised. So looking forward to all that lies ahead.
Thankfully yours,
The Reverend Elizabeth Gray

So sorry I couldn’t be there to be smiling at you with all the others. I would have much preferred that to being on 95, trust me! 🙂 Congratulations!

Such a delight, Liz. We’re equally thrilled that Restoration gets to keep you!

I don’t know how this happened so fast. I think you told us you were interested in going to seminary about 6 months ago. What a blessing to see you go through this process. Well done Pastor Liz!
