Small groups begin today! Small groups are where community happens. They’re an easy way to connect with others through conversation, Bible study, and prayer. Groups meet at different times throughout the week at locations around Arlington and beyond. Registration is only open for two more weeks, so go to the website to register today: restorationarlington.org.
Have you found your place at Restoration? No matter who you are or where you’ve come from, there’s a place for you here, and we’d love to help you find it. After the service this evening, head to the Friendship Hall downstairs for dessert and the chance to talk with Restoration staff and people who are involved in different aspects of our life together. It’s a great way to meet people and to figure out how you can connect with our community.
APEX is back in action. After a bit of a break over the summer, we’re geared up for a great new semester. All middle and high school students, come on up to the Treehouse (2nd floor) after the service tonight. We’ll have dinner ($5 suggested donation), catch up on our summers, and launch into a new year. We’ll wrap up at 8:15. Want to know more? Contact Clay: go to restorationarlington.org/contact and choose “Youth ministry.”
Prayer for Shawn Kuykendall: Shawn is a member of Restoration who is battling cancer. Friends are organizing an evening of prayer for him on Fri., Sept. 27, and all are welcome: 7:30 pm at 3526 N. Ohio St., Arlington. Questions? Contact Erica Chapman at 703-987-0657.
Register for the Fall Retreat: You’ll want to spend Oct. 19-20 at Massanetta Springs with the whole Restoration community, so head to the website and register today. New this year: an optional Friday night stay for those who’d like a little extra retreat time. Questions? Want to help with the retreat? Email Brad: abradleynelson@gmail.com.
Prayer at 4. Come to the Treehouse (2nd floor) each Sunday from 4–4:30 pm (note the new end time) to pray. We pray for our worship service, for each other, for whatever’s going on in the world that we care about. These meetings are lively, varied, and lots of fun. All are welcome—including kids.
Do you get our weekly e-newsletter? If not, you’re missing out on the best way to stay connected to what’s happening at Restoration. Drop an email to info@restorationarlington.org to subscribe.
Can we pray for you? Every Sunday, there are teams of trained prayer ministers at the front of the sanctuary who would love to pray for you. Nothing’s too big or too small to be prayed for. Just make your way to the front after the service.
