Philippines typhoon relief: Thanks to your generosity, Restoration is donating a total of $5000 to relief efforts for the victims of Typhoon Haiyan: $4000 to ARDF and $1000 to Convoy of Hope. You can also help by giving your time: A team from Restoration will pack meals to send to the Philippines through Convoy of Hope on Sat., Dec. 14, from 9 am–12 pm at Cherrydale Baptist Church. 3 AM Girls: Many of you have asked if we could offer another screening of 3 AM Girls, the documentary about children being trafficked right here in the DC area. All are welcome on Mon., Dec. 9, at 7:30 pm at the Brooks’ home: 3600 25th St. N., Arlington VA 22207. Please note that the film is not appropriate for children.

Christmas Eve at Restoration: Join us for a Eucharist service of lessons and carols at 4 pm and 8 pm at Rivendell School, 5700 Lee Hwy., Arlington VA 22207. Children are encouraged to come dressed as their favorite nativity character. Nursery available at 4 pm. All of our offerings at the Christmas Eve services will go to Courtney’s House, a local organization that rescues and cares for children who have been trafficked.
