Sunday Announcements – February 22, 2015
This weekend 89 Restoration women are ‘on retreat’: pray for them that they will come back refreshed and with a keener view of who God is and how to pray. Pray for a safe drive home and that they will hold on to all God has taught them in the weeks ahead.
Lenten devotional guide. Restoration has assembled a booklet composed of reflections and visual art from our own members of the congregation. We would love if you picked up a copy and use it to guide you through this season.
Friday morning prayer. Lent is a season with a focus on prayer, and one way we will observe the season is by gathering for morning prayer on Friday, 7-7:35am, at the church. Hope you can join us as we begin the day together in a posture of prayer.
West Virginia Trip 2015! June 24 – 28. This is our 7th summer forming relationships, helping with (easy!) construction projects, and spending time in the community of Chestnut Ridge in Philippi, WV. We’d love for you to join the team! Find out more info and register for the trip here: http://tinyurl.com/westvirginiatrip2015 Questions? Ask Ali Burke or Timon Hazell or email westvirginiatrip2015@gmail.com. Applications are due by March 22.
Volunteer Admin Team. Restoration is building a volunteer administrative team. We’re looking for volunteers who can plan to be in our offices on a specific day each week to help with a variety of tasks. Contact Kat at kat@restorationarlington.org.
Join our after-service prayer team. Praying for people is one of the great ways God gives us to care for each other and be community. Interested in being part of the team that prays for people after the Sunday service? Go to restorationarlington.org/contact and choose “Prayer.”
Want to be a part of a first for Restoration? Sign up today for our first conference to be hosted right here. Dan Allender is a captivating speaker, author and counselor who is sure to show you something about your own story you’ve never seen or thought of before. http://theallendercenter.org/conferences/to-be-told/

Washington-Lee Parking Garage @ 15 St. Please do not park on Quincy St. or the side streets. Parking toward Ballston in the Washington-Lee High School parking garage is one of the best ways that we can love our neighbors, and it is only a short walk or shuttle ride away. Thank you!
