Sunday Announcements – April 19, 2015
We have an app for that: Giving, Sermons, Music, Events, Sign-ups, and more. Download the Restoration Anglican Church app from the Mac App Store or the Google Play Store. It’s a great way to stay connected to what’s happening with the Restoration community.
Register for a small group today. Almost everyone who worships with us on Sunday evenings is in a small group during the week. Tri2 groups begin this week and run through the week of June 21. Register today: go to restorationarlington.org/connect. Ask someone in a red shirt!
Last Call for New-to-Restoration Dinner: Are you new (or new-ish) to Restoration? We’d love to meet you, tell you a little more about the church, and answer any questions you have—all while feeding you a great dinner. Join us on Tues, April 21, at 7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Go to restorationarlington.org/connect to RSVP by 8pm tonight.
Pig Out: Save the date! The men of Restoration invite the entire church and friends far and wide to celebrate on May 2 in Middleburg. The guys will be roasting a whole hog and grilling up plenty of alternative fare. Expect lots of games, songs and outdoor fun for young and old, plus an option to camp overnight! More information at restorationarlington.org/2015/04/restoration-pig-roast/
Restoration is hiring! Restoration is seeking a director of youth ministries. There is more information about the position at restorationarlington.org. New deadline for resumes is May 15.
Women at Restoration: want to get to know each other beyond the Sunday service setting? Sign up for a Wisdom of Walking gathering: one-time events in various homes that simply provide a time & space to connect. Sign up on the website.
Are you looking for an easy way to become involved at Restoration? Please join us for Liturgical Volunteer Training on Sunday, April 26th @ 1:00. No experience necessary and a great way to meet people and become involved. For more information contact kathy@restorationarlington.org.
Evensong starts again tonight. Think “campfire” prayer and singing with candles instead of a campfire – a less structured time of worship. Sun, April 12, from 7-8pm. Ask Matt (the music leader) or ask around.
