Sunday Announcements – August 30, 2015
Summer Schedule: During August, we are worshipping together at the 9am and 11am services. We will take a vacation from the 5pm, and snacks after the services, until September 13. Use the extra time to grab coffee with a friend or host a BBQ.
Fall Retreat: Oct 17-18, 2015. Registration is now open for the annual fall retreat. The weekend is filling up quickly, so we encourage you to sign up soon. You can register in the narthex, or at home on the app or the front page of our website. www.restorationarlington.org
Small Groups Coming Soon! Signup will start Sunday, Sept 6.
Sunday, September 20 will be a big day at Restoration. We’ll kick off our Tri3 small groups, host our annual Missions Fair after all three services, and celebrate baptisms.
RestoArts Workshops are coming your way this fall. Gifted artists and leaders from Restoration will be leading workshops on video interviews, drums, watercolor/mixed media, storytelling, song writing, and photography on different Saturdays through the fall. Curious? Email matt@restorationarlington.org.
Sign up the video interview workshop today. Taylor Schuelke, Assistant Producer at National Geographic, will be presenting. If you have a smartphone with video capability and desire to tell others’ stories well, you should come to this. Sat, Sept 19 at 1pm, 9 person cap, and you really do want to be there. Pregnant with prayer possibilities. There is a team of folks who intercede on behalf of those who are pregnant, who desire to become pregnant, who are mourning the loss of a pregnancy, or who are adopting. If you would like to be part of this confidential intercessory prayer team, or if you would like prayer, please let Louise know. louise@restorationarlington.org
Clay’s departure. Clay is wrapping up three years on staff with Restoration, and he will be stepping down from his position today. You will still see him and Rachel around as they prepare to move abroad early next year. Why not ask him and Rachel out for coffee to hear more about what they’ll be doing?
