- Let us welcome the newly baptized! Today we celebrate the baptisms of Ronan Parkhurst, William and John Kincaid, Cormac Simerly (9am), Brynn Brooms, Everett and Colette Cummins (11am), and Henry Sahm (5pm). Please pray for them as they grow in their faith and love for Jesus.

- Silk Road Prayer Meeting, Monday, Nov 2 at 7:30pm at the church. Come and pray for our friends and partners in Asia Minor.
- Signing the Big Green Book. If you desire to become a member of Restoration and have been to the New to Restoration dinner, be sure to fill out the forms (restorationarlington.org) and get them in by Nov 4 so that you can sign the Big Green Book on Nov 8.
- RestoParents. Join us Nov 3 from 7:30-9 PM as we hear from a panel of parents and join in the dialogue about praying for and with your children — from pre-birth to college-bound. Childcare for elementary-aged children and younger is available, but you must RSVP to Louise (louise@restorationarlington.org) by Nov 1.
- Storytelling Workshop by RestoArts is Sat, Nov 7 at 2pm in a location nearby. You have a story! Learn from Grant Hollis how to find it and share it with fullness and clarity (especially as the holidays are coming). 7 slots are available. 1:30pm optional story mining session.
Register at https://Restoration.formstack.com/forms/storytelling - RestoMen continues on Tues, Nov 10. The evening begins at 7pm with a catered, light supper. Bring $5 to help cover the cost. At 7:30 we start the conversation and end promptly at 9. We will be talking about the role of prayer as a discipline of intimacy with God.
- Operation Christmas Child — It’s the most wonderful time of the year! Pack a shoebox for a child that will be distributed by Samaritan’s Purse. Pick up your empty shoebox with instructions near the snack area, fill it, then return it on Nov 15 or Nov 22. louise@restorationarlington.org
- The gift of presence. Restoration is a drop-off point for those who are giving filled shoeboxes to kids all over the world. We collected 2,400 boxes last year! - Memorial Servants. We are looking for people interested in serving as volunteers at the occasional memorial service. If you have flexibility during the week, please consider helping us with hospitality, baking, ushering, greeting, etc.. Contact kathy@restorationarlington.org
- Evensong. Think “campfire” prayer and singing with candles instead of a campfire – a time to worship and meditate Sunday 7-8pm from now until Advent. Ask Matt (the music leader) or ask around.
