Sunday Announcements – January 31, 2016
- Small Group Registration is open online and on the app. Go to restorationarlington.org and the registration link is on the bottom left side of the homepage. Join one! It’s what we do. Deadline is today!
- 2015 Giving Statements. Last week you should have received an email from Kat Downs, with instructions on how to retrieve your giving statement through Church Community Builder (CCB). Contact Kat Downs if you have questions: kat@restorationarlington.org
- Monday Playgroup Come join other moms and kids (preschool age and below) at Restoration on Mondays from 10am-11:30 for playtime and fellowship. Please bring your own snack. First playgroup will be Mon, Feb 1. All are welcome! Contact Heather Brooms at heatherd22@gmail.com with questions.
- Silk Road Prayer Meeting, Mon, Feb 1 at 7:30pm at the church. Come and pray for our friends and partners in Asia Minor.
- RestoMen continues Tues, Feb 2. The evening begins at 7pm with a catered, light supper. Bring $5 to help cover the cost. At 7:30 we start the conversation and end promptly at 9. We will be talking about silence as a discipline of intimacy with God.
- Pray for Cambodia in the fellowship hall on Mon, Feb 8, at 7:30pm.
- The Pancake Parish Meeting: It’s Shrove Tuesday on Feb 9, so we will eat pancakes from 5:30pm to 7 followed by our Parish Meeting which will start right at 7. Nursery care will be provided during the Parish Meeting.
- Ash Wednesday services will be offered Feb 10 at 6:30am, 12pm, and 7:30pm. Nursery will be available for the 12 and 7:30 services.
- RestoWomen Retreat. The annual women’s retreat will be held at Meadowkirk from the evening of Feb 19th to the morning of Feb 21st. We’ll be talking about worship, guidance, and celebration — the corporate spiritual disciplines. Registration is live on the website & on the Restoration app! Deadline is today.
- Women’s Retreat Musicians: The Women’s Retreat Music team is looking for a few more musicians. If you are interested contact Eva-Elizabeth Chisholm (eva.chisholm@gmail.com) or Beth DeRiggi (bderiggi@yahoo.com)
- Interested in Mission? Join a group from restoration going to New wineskins http://www.newwineskins.org/ the BEST Anglican missionary conference. - Bolivia! This July 1-11, Restoration will make its first official mission trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia, where we’ll build relationships and refresh the workers at La Trinidad (the local Anglican church) and Niños con Valor (a children’s ministry for at-risk youth).
