- Casa Chirilagua has open volunteer opportunities this fall to be part of the lives of kids, teens and families in our community. Join us as we develop relationships with families to see the Chirilagua neighborhood transformed by Christ. See openings at bit.ly/casavolunteer2016
- Missions fair: Make a note to stop by the Missions Fair to learn about our partners on Oct 2, in the Fellowship hall after all three services. Note too that the AFAC table will be collecting low-sugar cereal donations of any kind. Please considering serving our neighbors with delicious, healthy breakfast cereals!
- RestoMen kicks off a new year on Tue, Oct. 11 with a catered, light supper (Bring $5 to help cover the cost). At 7:30 pm we start the conversation, & end promptly at 9 pm. This year, we’re looking at the book of Proverbs & talking about “Becoming Men of Wisdom”.
- Flag Football! Restoration has a flag football team! Games are Saturday mornings near the Mall against other DC churches. It is co-ed, recreational, and fun. If interested in playing, email Matt Farrell (farrellmp@gmail.com).
- Bolivia Night!!! Come and hear stories from the 2016 Resto Bolivia team, meet members of Ninos con Valor, and learn how you can be a part of building our relationships in Bolivia in the future! Bring a friend! You’ll find us at the Grays’ House: 4318 39th St N Arlington.
- RestoArts Advent Planning next Sunday, Oct 2 from 1:30 – 3:00. We’ve got a start on things, and we’d love help to keep dreaming and pushing forward how we will help our community enter into the “preparation time” of Advent. matt@restorationarlington.org
- The RestoApp. This is a great tool we use to help make listening to sermons and music, giving, volunteering, contacting folks in the congregation, and signing up for events easier! It’s in the App Store for Apple users and Google Play for Android folks. Ask for a Church Community Builder login by scrolling to the bottom of the App’s main screen, selecting “contact,” and selecting “request a CCB login.”
