- Vestry Nominations close today. The vestry is 9 committed, faithful, praying leaders who serve for 3 years alongside the rector. Nominations (including yourself) can be submitted until October 23 to nominations@restorationarlington.org Please pray for the discernment process of selection.
- Evensong starts again tonight. Think “campfire” prayer and singing with candles instead of a campfire – a more contemplative time of worship from 7-8 pm. Ask Matt (the music leader).
- Sunday Liturgical Volunteers: There is an Appreciation Lunch/Safety Training for all Ushers, Greeters and Vergers today at 1:00 and an Appreciation Lunch for all Communion Servers/Sanctuary Setup/Altar Setup/Readers/Power Point/Sound on Sunday Oct.30th @ 1:00. Child care provided. Please RSVP or direct questions to Kathy Kenyon (kathy@restorationarlington.org).
- RestoMen. Join us on Tue, Nov 1 for our next gathering. We begin at 7pm with a catered, light supper (Bring $5 to help cover the cost). At 7:30 pm we start the conversation, & end promptly @ 9pm. This month we’re talking about the “Importance of Real Friendships.”
- All Saint’s Day – On Nov. 6, our church will celebrate the “communion of the saints,” all of God’s people throughout time and around the world. If you have a loved one who has died in the last year, please send us a photo for a slideshow we’ll include in worship. Email photos to Matt by Tues, Nov 1: matt@restorationarlington.org

- RestoArts Workshop. Back by popular demand, Emily Wade will be hosting a workshop on Mixed Media Prayer Journaling on Sat, Nov 12 from 7pm-9 at the Brooks’ home. Sign up at restorationarlington.org/workshops/
- RestoArts Quilters!! For the quilter in our midst, we have a November project in preparation for Advent we would love for you to lend your stitches toward. Contact matt@restorationarlington.org soon if you are a quilter and would like to be involved.
