Sunday Announcements – December 11, 2016

1. Christmas Services!  We are looking for volunteers at our services on Christmas Eve (3:00, 5:00 and 9:00), Christmas Day (10:00am) and New Year’s Day (10:00am). If you are a regular Sunday volunteer please sign up on MSP. If you have never volunteered, this is a great way to join in. Please contact Kathy Kenyon (kathy@restorationarlington.org) or fill out a green card if you are interested. 
   
2. Doorways for Women and Children: During the Christmas Eve service, it is a tradition at Restoration to bring gifts to support Doorways for Women and Children. This year, we have been asked to bring specific items. Sign up to bring something. restorationarlington.ccbchurch.com/form_response.php?id=28
   
3. Financial Giving on Christmas Eve: All of our Christmas Eve offerings will be used to support the work of Little Lights Urban Ministries which empowers underserved youth, families, and communities in Washington DC by sharing the hope of Christ through compassionate action, caring relationships, and racial reconciliation.
   
4. West Asia Prayer: We have a special place in our heart for West Asia, so we pray regularly for the people and this region. Join us Dec 12 @ 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary.
   
5. Leading a Small Group? We are looking for new small group leaders for Winter 2017. If you are potentially interested in leading a group, please contact nathan@restorationarlington.org. The deadline to sign up is Dec 21, 2016.
   
6. RestoMen Retreat.  Our annual Men’s retreat is coming Jan 13-14, 2017 at Meadowkirk Retreat Center in Middleburg,VA. Sign up on the Restoration App or website!

8. Navidad para Niños!  This Advent, join us to support our Bolivian partner, Niños con Valor. Beginning November 27, grab an ornament from the Christmas tree in the lower narthex that has a picture and name of one of the 38 children under NCV’s care to see how you can get involved.
   
9. Clergy Emergency Contact Number: 571.766.6495 This number will ring the clergy who is on call 24 hours a day. Please use this number if you have a crisis and would like to speak to your pastor. We are available to you.
   
10. New-to-Restoration dinner. Are you new or somewhat new to Restoration? Join us for dinner on Tues, Jan 31 at 7:30pm. We’ll feed you and give you a chance to learn about who we are. Registration will open soon.
