Sunday Announcements – January 8, 2017
- Let us welcome the newly baptized! Today we celebrate the baptisms of Malcolm Charles Nifontoff, Emilia Rose Nifontoff, Michael Gerald Nifontoff, and Jericho Hudson Jones (9am), Liam Charles Burke (11am), and Arana Lucille Phillips and timothy Bennett Eberhardt (5pm). Please pray for them as they grow in their faith and love for Jesus.
- Small Groups are open today on the website and app. Join one!
- Christmas Eve Giving. This year on Christmas Eve we collected $6,503.50 for Little Lights Urban Ministries. Our church also provided many household items for Doorways to Women and Families. Thank you for your generosity!
- Evensong. Not your traditional evensong. Join us in the sanctuary from 7pm-8 on Sundays in Epiphany for a contemplative time of singing, praying, and listening to the Holy Spirit. Bring a friend. Curious? Ask matt@restorationarlington.org.
- Apex returns tonight! If you are in middle or high school, you should be here right after the 5pm service.
- West Asia Prayer. We have a special place in our heart for West Asia, so we pray regularly for the people and this region. Join us January 9 @ 7:30 PM in the Sanctuary.
- Noontime/Midweek Eucharist Service: Pause in your week to join us for a Wednesday Noontime Eucharist service from 12:15 to 1 pm on January 11 through February 22. If you are available to assist with the service or have any questions, please contact Katie Hamlin, kejhamlin@gmail.com
- Women Unscripted: Growing up in our souls. Tues, Jan 17, come and hear a wonderful panel of women share their stories. Bring a friend!
- RestoArts Workshop. Drumming in Community with Evan Pollack will take place on Sat, Jan 21 at noon. Whether you’ve never touched a drum or if you play regularly, this is a great opportunity for you to creatively engage in community. Middle School and up.
