Sunday Announcements – September 16, 2018

1. Time to register for kids’ small groups! Every year we ask parents of nursery-5th graders to register for kids’ small groups. Guess what? That time is now. Head to our website (restorationarlington.org/about/children/registration/) or click on the app.
2. Small Group Registration is Open! Small groups are a key part of our life together at Restoration.  You can register today at restorationarlington.org or on the app.
3. Are you new (or new-ish) to Restoration? We’d love to meet you, tell you a little more about the church, and answer any questions you have – all while feeding you a great dinner. Join us, Oct 2 at 7:30 in Fellowship Hall. To RSVP, go to restorationarlington.org/ntrd
4. APEX Parents Meeting will be in the sanctuary at 1pm today.  Do you have middle school and/or high school kids?  You should be there.  Contact isaiah@restorationarlington.org if you have questions.
5. Songs of Restoration and Prayer: Sat, Sept 29 at 7pm, we invite you into a variety of ways to worship, listen, and be available to God through music (led by RestoMusicians), healing prayer, journaling, art, words, etc.  Families and friends are very welcome!  Curious? Ask matt@restorationarlington.org “Let us press on to know the Lord.”
6. Register for the Fall Retreat! Our annual Fall Retreat is Oct 13-14.  Registration closes on Sun, Sept 30, so register today at restorationarlington.org or on the app.
7. Volunteer with Casa Chirilagua: Come, serve, help change, and be changed with Casa Chirilagua as we develop relationships with families to see the Chirilagua neighborhood transformed by Christ. Volunteer to impact the lives of kids, teens and families. casachirilagua.org/volunteer
8. Taking Pictures. Restoration is growing its team of Sunday and occasional volunteers. If you are interested in periodically serving as photographer or videographer for church events, contact  matt@restorationarlington.org. It’s as simple as attending with your camera at your side.
9. Incarnation has launched!  Please pray for our church plant.  In addition, why not plan to visit one Sunday evening at 5pm, in Greenbrier Baptist Church, 5401 7th Rd S, Arlington, VA 22204.  You would be so welcome!
10. Restoration is hiring a Facilities Coordinator!  The part-time Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming space for the Restoration community by functioning as the main point of contact for all facilities inquiries, escalations, maintenance, and repairs. 11. RILA Meals. We love providing food for clients and volunteers during clinic nights but are in need of more volunteers! Feel free to bring a meal as a family, with friends, roommates, or neighbors! Email Kate – katherine.liias@gmail.com. Upcoming dates: 9/19, 10/10
12. Clergy Emergency Contact Number: This is a way for you to contact one of our clergy if you have any sort of pastoral emergency.  Text or call 571.766.6495 to get through to one of them right away.
