Sunday Announcements – September 2, 2018

1. Time to register for kids’ small groups! Every year we ask parents of nursery-5th graders to register for kids’ small groups. Guess what? That time is now. Head to our website (restorationarlington.org/about/children/registration/) or click on the app. Kids’ small groups kick off again on Sept. 9!
   
2. Restoration Vision Night.  This Thurs, Sept 6 from 7-9pm we have a chance to dream about who Restoration is becoming in the next chapter of our life together. David will present various opportunities that are emerging for strategic emphasis in our church, and staff will give volunteer orientation for fall programming.
   
3. Incarnation is being commissioned today!  Please pray for our church plant.  In addition, why not plan to visit one Sunday evening at 5pm, in Greenbrier Baptist Church, 5401 7th Rd S, Arlington, VA 22204.  You would be so welcome!
   
4. RestoBolivia Night!  The RestoBolivia team is back from Cochabamba and excited to share their stories. Join us after the 5 pm service in the fellowship hall tonight. Bolivian dishes (sopa de mani and salteñas) will be served. Hope to see you there!
   
5. Register for the Fall Retreat! Our annual Fall Retreat is Oct 13-14.  Register today at restorationarlington.org or on the app.
   
6. Small Group Registration. Small groups are a key part of our life together at Restoration.  Registration begins next week!
   
7. Songs of Restoration and Prayer: Sat, Sept 29 at 7pm, we will offer a variety of ways to worship God together as we listen and respond to him through music (led by RestoMusicians), healing prayer, journaling, art, words, etc.  Families and friends are very welcome!  Questions? 8. Restoration is hiring a Facilities Coordinator!  The part-time Facilities Coordinator is responsible for maintaining a safe and welcoming space for the Restoration community by functioning as the main point of contact for all facilities inquiries, escalations, maintenance, and repairs. 9. RILA Meals. We love providing food for clients and volunteers during clinic nights but are in need of more volunteers! Feel free to bring a meal as a family, with friends, roommates, or neighbors! Email Kate – katherine.liias@gmail.com. Upcoming dates: 9/19, 10/10
   
10. Interested in visiting our partners in West Asia? We are discussing the possibility of a trip to pray for and see our partners in West Asia this fall. Looking at dates in Nov. Interested? Curious? Send a quick email to david@restorationarlington.org by Sept 9. Trying to gauge interest.
