Sunday Announcements – November 24th, 2019

1. Vestry Election Dec. 1 and 8 : Restoration will open its annual meeting for the purpose of selecting new vestry members on Dec. 1 and 8. All members of Restoration, who have signed The Big Green Book, are invited to participate.
2. The Glebe Star Trees are here! Grab a tag from a tree in the upper and lower narthex to be part of this annual tradition of blessing our neighbors. Glebe Star Tree gifts are due Thursday, December 12. Questions? Louise can help.
3. Want to help serve Resto youth? Find out how you can serve in APEX Youth Ministry this winter and spring by contacting Isaiah.
4. RestoMen: Join us this Tuesday night, December 3 for our next RestoMen gathering. We will begin at 7:30pm with supper, and end promptly at 9. This month our topic is “How can we actually connect with God?” Questions? Contact Nathan.
5. After service prayer training: Prayer is key to our life together at Restoration! Get equipped to pray for others. The training will be Sunday, December 8 from 1-3pm in the Fellowship Hall.
6. Interested in being an adult small group leader? If you are interested in leading a small group during the winter trimester (which will begin the week of January 19 and run for 10 weeks till the week of March 22) please contact Nathan. The deadline to sign up is Sunday, December 22.
7. Prayer for Bolivia: All are invited to pray for Bolivia and our ministry partners on December 12, from 8-9pm at the home of Kate and Endel Liias. You can also hear more about Restoration’s 2020 mission trip to Bolivia. Contact Kate for details.
8. RestoMen Retreat: Our annual Men’s retreat is coming Jan. 10-11, 2020 at Meadowkirk Retreat Center in Middleburg, VA. Register by Thursday, Dec. 5 for Early Bird price ($80 for bunk room or $145 for inn room). Sign up here.
9. RestoWomen Retreat: The RestoWomen’s Retreat is Feb. 7-9, also at Meadowkirk. Speaker Elizabeth Fitch will lead us in a weekend of “Noticing God.” Registration opens soon!
