Sunday Announcements – February 9th, 2020
- Thinking Wisely about the Election: You’re invited on Tuesday night, February 18 from 7-9pm for an evening forum where we explore how we can wisely approach the election this year as Christians. The event is free, but please RSVP by going here.
- No APEX next weekend: The weekends of February 14 and 28, Resto’s youth ministry, APEX, will go on its winter retreat, “Breakaway.” As a result, we will not meet on February 16 and March 1. We will have APEX on February 23. Questions? Contact Isaiah.
- After-Service Prayer Training: Prayer is key to our life together at Restoration! We want to equip you to pray for others. The training will be Sunday, February 23 from 12:45-3pm. Lunch is provided. Contact Nathan if you are interested or have any questions.
- Confirmation: Interested in exploring Anglicanism? Take a four week confirmation class, which culminates with a confirmation service on March 23. We’ll meet from 5-6:30 pm on Sunday nights (2/23, 3/1, 3/8, and 3/15). Contact Nathan if interested.
- All Sunday Volunteers: It is time to update your availability for March and April in our scheduling system, MSP. Please login and let us know when you will be gone. Deadline: Sunday, February 23. Questions? Contact Kathy Kenyon.
- Shrove Tuesday Parish Meeting: Join us for pancakes and a parish meeting on February 25. Pancakes start flippin’ at 6pm with the parish meeting to follow at 7. Childcare for 5th grade and below is available during the parish meeting. RSVP for childcare.
- Ash Wednesday: We’ll mark the beginning of our Lenten season at Ash Wednesday services on Wednesday, February 26 at 6:30am, 12pm, and 7:30pm. Nursery care will be available at 12 and 7:30. Enter the penitential season alongside us.
