In our services this morning, David announced that we are transitioning to a new church management system, Church Center. He mentioned some of the ways this change will affect our life together as a church, and I’m writing to follow up with instructions for one of these changes specifically: giving.
All online giving to Restoration will transition to Church Center from Church Community Builder (CCB) by June 30.
Depending on how we give to Restoration, this transition will affect each of us differently. Below, I outline what this means for a few specific groups. For all of us, though, this change presents an opportunity to prayerfully consider our giving to Restoration.
Have you had the same repeating gift set up for several years? Consider whether that level of giving still fits your current financial situation.
Do you currently make occasional one-time gifts? Perhaps you’re now able to set up a monthly repeating gift.
Have you recently landed at Restoration, but not yet started giving? This could be the time to make your first gift.
I encourage you to pray about your current giving to Restoration and discuss it with your household over the next few days. When you’re ready to move your repeating gift or make your first one-time gift, visit this page for FAQs and step-by-step instructions. If you’d like to cover the processing fees of your gift, this new platform, Church Center, gives you the option! You’ll notice you now have the option to cover the processing fees of your gift, if you give via credit card. By covering your processing fees, you are helping us use some of the money we currently spend on processing fees for use in other ministry areas.
If you have an automatic repeating gift in CCB, we need you to set up a new gift in Church Center and stop your existing gift in CCB by June 30. Please create an account when you set up your gift.
When cancelling your gift in CCB, notice the date of your next gift. If the next gift is in June, please set your first gift in Church Center for a date in June. This is crucial and will ensure we can meet our operating budget for June.
Any repeating gifts not transferred to Church Center when our CCB subscription ends will bounce, and Restoration will not receive the funds.
If you give online by one-time gift, consider setting up a repeating gift in Church Center. If that isn’t possible, please make all your one-time gifts through Church Center moving forward. Please create an account when you make your first gift.
If you give, but not online (ie check, donor-advised fund, etc.), there will be no changes for you. We recommend creating a Church Center account so you can view your giving history.
