| Last Sunday, I had the privilege of thanking so many people who have volunteered their time and talents over the last year. I was overwhelmed with gratitude.
I also invited you to consider serving at Restoration in the year to come as we connect people to God and to each other. We gave you a card on Sunday and hundreds of you filled it out. Thank you!
I am going to repeat the invitations below and give you a chance to respond digitally. If you already filled out a card, you don’t need to respond here. We got you!
1. We would love for everyone who worships with us to occasionally serve as a Sunday volunteer. You don’t have to be a member of our church. It’s a great way to get to know people and to be one of those people who ‘sees’ others. Please use this form to let us know you are interested in serving as a Sunday volunteer. Nathan will be in touch in the next few weeks.
2. Would you consider being a small group leader for our kids, youth or adults? Our staff are great at helping you do the work of a small group leader and it means so much to us to have you as partners in the work. It’s ok to say you are “open but not sure.” We’d love to start the conversation with you as we get ready for the fall.
A quick aside- If you have been in the same adult small group for a number of trimesters- first of all, GREAT! and thank your leaders! Second of all, would you consider leading a new one in a coming trimester? We would like to grow our small group offerings by 10, by 30%, that is, instead of offering 30 small groups around the DMV, offering 40. Some of you have been in GREAT small groups and we would love for you to lead a great small group this fall. Send Beth a message if you are interested!
