Advent + Christmas 2024
There are several opportunities to enter into the spirit of the season this year at Restoration! We hope you’ll join us for one or all of them.
Advent Quiet Morning: Join us on Saturday, December 7 from 8:45–12 for a quiet, contemplative morning of prayer as the holiday season begins.
Decorating Restoration: The RestoArts team will be decorating the church on Saturday, December 7 from 12–5 pm. Interested in helping out? Let Isaac know.
Glebe Star Tree: Sign up to give a gift to our neighbors at Glebe Elementary School. Wrapped gifts should be dropped off at Restoration no later than Sunday, December 15. Interested in baking cookies to share or helping us sort and distribute gifts December 21 and 22? Sign up here.
Christmas Carol Sing: On December 15, we’ll host a carol sing at 4 pm. It will last about an hour, at which point we’ll linger over some cider and cookies together.
Christmas Eve: We have Christmas Eve services of lessons and carols at 3, 5, and 8 pm. The 3 and 5 pm services will be appropriate for kids of all ages. The 8 pm service will have more moments of stillness. In all of them, we will welcome with great joy the incarnation of God in His Son, Jesus. All three services will be broadcast on our YouTube channel.
December 29: We will not offer the 8 am service. There will be two services at 9:30 and 11:15 am. Nursery will be offered for those ages 3 and below.
