The Glebe Star Tree is here! It’s that most wonderful time of the year when we get to actively participate and serve the community that surrounds us through gift buying and hospitality.
WE INVITE YOU TO PARTNER WITH US TO PROVIDE GIFTS FOR CHILDREN.
There are four easy steps:
Sign up. Sign up here to sponsor a child for whom you will buy a gift. We suggest a budget of $25-50.
Buy. Jot down who you’re shopping for and what your shopping goals are, and then head to the shops!
Wrap. Wrap your gift and securely attach a tag to your gift with all the important identifying information — family # | child’s gender | child’s age | a description of the gift. [These tags will be removed prior to being given to the child.]
Bring. There are two places you can drop your gift. Choose the one most convenient for you:
- At Restoration Anglican Church between 8 AM – 2 PM on these Sundays: November 17, November 24, December 1, December 8, or December 15.
- At Glebe Elementary School during school hours between 8:40 AM – 4:50 PM beginning Monday, November 18 through Thursday, December 19.
If you can’t get your gift to Restoration by Sunday, December 15 or to Glebe by Thursday, December 19, or you have any questions, please reach out to Louise.
WE INVITE YOU TO HELP OFFER HOSPITALITY.
On Sunday, December 22, families from Glebe Elementary School will be coming to Restoration to pick up their Glebe Star Tree gifts. We want to make them feel welcome when they walk through our doors. You can help us extend this hospitality by baking cookies, sorting gifts, and more. Find details and sign up here.
