Nogales Noche
The Mission Trip
This summer, a team of our Apex High Schoolers are heading to Nogales, Mexico to serve with Cuirim Outreach–an organization that’s been ministering in this border town for 20 years. Cuirim gives people a chance to engage in the ancient monastic rhythm of work, study, and prayer through outreach. Our students will engage in several service projects, including mixing and laying concrete, painting, and building a retaining wall throughout the neighborhood to serve families identified by the local church leaders. They’ll also serve alongside local leaders at the Kids Cafe to minister to the children in the community.
How You Can Help
Our high school students are raising support for their trip and Nogales Noche is their big fundraiser. On Thursday, May 29, they’d love to host you for a delicious dinner, fun games, a silent auction, and testimonies. This is a gathering for the whole family! Registration is $15 per person, or $50 for a group of 4.
To help us plan for food, please register by Sunday, May 25. We will not have childcare available for that evening.
If you would like to donate to the silent auction–like the Reverend Scott Buckhout, who’s offering to caddy a round of golf for the highest bidder!–please email Ethan Malis at ethan@restorationarlington.org.
If you’re unable to attend our event but would still like to contribute, you may do so through this link!
