Sunday Announcements – June 29, 2014
1. Thank a kids’ small group leader. Today is the last day of our regular kids’ small groups, so be sure to thank your kid’s leaders for their love and hard work over the last year. Starting next Sunday, we’ll have nursery and preschool kids’ small groups only. Older kids will worship with their families throughout the service.
2. It’s AFAC Sunday: Lots of Restoration folks regularly serve at the Arlington Food Assistance Center. Stop by the AFAC table outside after church to learn more about how you can get involved, and sign up for one of the summer farmers’ market runs.
3. Pray for the WV team: We’re sending 20 adults, kids, and youth to WV this week to love and serve the people of Philippi. Please pray for them while they’re away, Jul. 2–6.
4. Eager to move to the new building? We are too. We’re in the final stages of construction, and we’re tentatively planning to have our first services back on Quincy St. on Jul. 20 at 10 am and 5 pm. Watch this space for updates.
5. Miss your small group already? Then join a special summer small group (yep, there’s only one) led by David Griffin. Topic: Job and the Justice of God. Wednesdays at 7:30 pm beginning Jul. 2, in the Treehouse at Little Falls. For details or to sign up, go to
