- Are you interested in membership at Restoration? Please join us for dinner and conversation about Living God’s Story at Restoration. We will tell you about the last 10 years and where God is taking us in the future. It kicks off with dinner at 7 on Oct. 1 in Fellowship Hall. To RSVP, go to restorationarlington.org. - Pints and Perspectives: This Wednesday night, Oct. 2 at 7pm, Navigators 20s/30s and Restoration are hosting “Pints and Perspectives” at Rocklands BBQ in Arlington on the second floor. Come for the free food at the beginning and stay for a thoughtful discussion surrounding the hard questions of Christianity. David will be leading!
- Fall Small Group registration is open! Small groups are probably the easiest way to get plugged in here at Restoration. Head to the front page of our website to sign up! Contact Nathan Dickerson (nathan@restorationarlington.org) with questions. Registration closes next Sunday, Oct. 6.
- Parish Meeting next Sunday after the 11: We are having a parish meeting next Sunday after the 11am service. All are invited and encouraged to attend! We’ll serve pizza for lunch! Childcare for nursery-5th grade will be available during the meeting. Email Louise (louise@restorationarlington.org) and Abigail (abigail@restorationarlington.org) to RSVP for childcare.
- RestoMen Kickoff on October 8: We want to invite all the men of Restoration to come to the RestoMen Kickoff on Tuesday, Oct. 8 from 7:30-9pm at the church. We are having a cookout and a bonfire! This is a great opportunity to connect with other guys at church. Please join us!
- No church on Quincy St on October 13: We will not be having any services here at Restoration on Sunday, Oct. 13 as we will be returning that afternoon from our fall retreat.
- Neighborhood Service Project: Have you heard the news? We are turning 10 in November and we want to celebrate by saying thank you to our neighbors! Save-the-date for a kid-friendly park clean up project at nearby Cherry Valley Park on Saturday, Nov. 2 from 9am-1pm. More details to follow!
- Pickup Soccer: Every Wednesday night throughout the fall, a group will be meeting at 8pm at the Thomas Jefferson Middle School field (3501 2nd St S) for some pickup soccer. Email michaelcharper@gmail.com to be added to the email list. See you there!
