Although I was born in Virginia, I call Hawaii home. I spent junior high and high school in the great Aloha State, pursuing God with the help of some incredible youth group leaders. After graduation, I decided to attend Calvin College, a Christian liberal arts college (now University!) in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
In college, I studied Communications and quickly realized that I had a passion for organizing events and also helping organizations operate at their full potential. I have spent most of my career planning events for non-profits and setting up new processes to streamline their business operations.
I started attending Restoration in April 2011, already aware of its passionate and energetic community. I’m excited to be a part of that larger community as a staff member now, and using my skills here at Restoration to grow God’s kingdom.
My husband, Tommy, and I love to travel and we are always in search of hidden gems everywhere we go, including right here in Arlington. We have a four-year-old daughter and a newborn son.
