My name is Mackenzie, but mostly everyone calls me Mack! In the fall of 2024, I moved from Houston, TX to the area to be the Director of Youth for our Apex ministry here at Restoration.

Growing up in the church has had a profound impact on my life. I like to joke that I have been in Youth/Student Ministry since I was in diapers because I was the kid of a youth pastor for 10 years. This exposure and being part of the church throughout different stages of my life made working for a church and with students the obvious choice. God confirmed that when I spent a summer during college interning with a student ministry where I felt my giftings and passions for students collide. I then came on staff in that same student ministry in 2021 where I got to disciple students. As I’ve worked with junior high and high school students, I have found that my passion is to teach them to know and love God by knowing and loving His Word, His people, and His creation.

In my spare time, I love to watch TV, go for walks, catch a movie/play/concert, and spend time with friends.
