Good and tough. The “come to me” invitation is not the natural choice when faced with the truth of our (vomit-inducing) state.
One thing I really wrestle with is not initially asking for some help, but being really leery of becoming “that needy person.” Actually, I’m petrified of being perceived like that. I guess the fact of the matter is we all have more needs than others can meet. Realizing that God will meet my needs and will use a combo of factors to do that. His word, time with caring believers, creation beauty, etc.
I guess my question is a bit of an conundrum, how can we be needy without being too needy?
