Sunday Announcements – May 15, 2016
- Let us welcome the newly baptized! Today we celebrate the baptisms of Elisa Marie Johnson Hamlin, Harrison Thomas Payne, Harriet Rose Montague, and Luke Seojoon Twaddell. Please pray for Elisa, Harrison, Harriet, and Luke as they grow in their faith and love for Jesus.
- Morgan Reed’s Ordination Tonight. Celebrate with us as Morgan becomes a Deacon tonight at 5pm. Bishop John will be there, and there will be incense during the service and a reception to follow. Join us!
- Apex tonight. Our Youth ministry will meet in the lower Narthex at 6:30pm.
- Homeschooling or interested in homeschooling? Join other Restoration homeschool moms (or dads) for dessert on Mon, May 16, at 7:30 at Restoration to pray with, encourage and just get to know each other. Questions? E-mail Heather Raber, htraber@yahoo.com.
- Women Unscripted will be reflecting on what it looks like to be “in balance.” Tues, May 17, at 7:30 pm in the Fellowship Hall. Bring a friend!
- Lunch and Prayer with RestoStaff at the Courthouse. We are called to pray for our government leaders, and it is a right, good, and joyful thing to eat lunch together; So join us for lunch at Subway (1435 N Courthouse Rd.) from 12 to 12:30 after which we will meet outside the Courthouse to pray. (Feel free to brown-bag it if you’d prefer.)
- Drum Circle! Next Sunday, May 22 from 7-8pm, a group of us will be in the sanctuary banging on some drums. Join us! Want to come but don’t have a drum? contact matt@restorationarlington.org. Curious? Join us. The more the merrier…and louder.
- Praying with hope. There is a team of folks who intercede on behalf of those who are pregnant, who desire to become pregnant, who are adopting, or who are mourning the loss of a pregnancy.
