- No services next Sunday, Oct 16. We will all be at the Fall Retreat.
- Parish Meeting and Pizza today pizza will be available at 12:30pm and the meeting will start at 1 lasting about 45 minutes.
- RestoMen kicks off a new year on Tue, Oct. 11 with a catered, light supper (Bring $5 to help cover the cost). At 7:30 pm we start the conversation, & end promptly at 9 pm. This year, we’re looking at the book of Proverbs & talking about “Becoming Men of Wisdom”.
- Bolivia Night!!! On Thurs, Oct 13 at 7:30pm, come and hear about the team’s visit in 2016 and our plans for visiting Cochabamba again in August 2017. Tyson and Aydee from NCV will be there too. Where? The Grays home, 4318 39th st N, Arlington VA 22207.
- Women Unscripted. Growing up in Christ: our hearts. Come and hear a fabulous panel share their stories on Tues, Oct 18 at 7:30pm. Bring a friend.
- Vestry Nominations are open. The vestry is 9 committed, faithful, praying leaders who serve for 3 years alongside the rector. Nominations (including yourself) can be submitted until October 23 to nominations@restorationarlington.org Please pray for the discernment process of selection.
- Sunday Liturgical Volunteers: There will be an Appreciation Lunch/Safety Training for all Ushers, Greeters and Vergers on Sunday Oct 23rd at 1:00 and an Appreciation Lunch for all Communion Servers/Sanctuary Setup/Altar Setup/Readers/Power Point/Sound on Sunday Oct.30th @ 1:00. - All Saint’s Day – On Nov. 6, our church will celebrate the “communion of the saints,” all of God’s people throughout time and around the world. If you have a loved one who has died in the last year, please send us a photo for a slideshow we’ll include in worship. Email photos to Matt by Tues, Nov 1: matt@restorationarlington.org

- RestoArts Quilters!! For the quilter in our midst, we have a November project in preparation for Advent we would love for you to lend your stitches toward. Contact matt@restorationarlington.org soon if you are a quilter and would like to be involved.
- The RestoApp. This is a great tool we use to help make listening to sermons and music, giving, volunteering, contacting folks in the congregation, and signing up for events easier! It’s in the App Store for Apple users and Google Play for Android folks. Ask for a Church Community Builder login by scrolling to the bottom of the App’s main screen, selecting “contact,” and selecting “request a CCB login.”
