Executive Director’s Update: a new hire!
Hello, Resto!
We are so excited to announce our new Operations Coordinator: Callie Goyer!
As the Operations Coordinator, Callie will manage the day-to-day business logistics of the church. Practically, that means she will work alongside me to manage the church finances and the church business office. You, the congregation, will liaise with Callie when you have questions about giving or Church Community Builder (CCB).
Callie is a great writer and detail-oriented. During the interview process, it was clear she was looking for a place where she can utilize her skills to bring the vision of the organization to life while managing a variety of details. We’re thrilled Restoration can be that place.
Callie’s first day will be January 24 and we look forward to having her on the team!
Here is a little bit more background from Callie:
I spent most of my childhood living in Falls Church, and those years were profoundly shaped by my family’s involvement at The Falls Church Anglican. I left Falls Church to attend the University of Virginia where I studied French, Religious Studies, and English. While at UVA, I spent much of my time learning and serving at the Center for Christian Study, where I first became interested in non-profit operations. Upon graduation, I moved to Arlington and married Ryan. We started attending Restoration virtually in early 2020, and the combination of new friends and familiar faces from growing up made me feel at home right away. One of my favorite things about the past two years has been serving with Apex and getting to know the seventh-grade girls. After a bit of time in the real estate industry, I’m looking forward to working behind the scenes to support an organization that I love alongside an incredible staff team.
Three more quick notes:
- The deadline to register for the RestoWomen’s retreat is this Friday.
- We look forward to hosting Steve Park next Thursday, January 20, and encourage you to RSVP for that event, especially if you’d like childcare.
- David is on his annual prayer retreat this week and we welcome you to be in prayer for him while he’s away!
As always, if you have any questions or concerns to share with our team, please reach out to us!
