Prayer this evening at 7 pm for UVA
Restoration,
“Fret not yourself because of evildoers; be not envious of wrongdoers!
For they will soon fade like the grass and wither like the green herb.
Trust in the Lord, and do good; dwell in the land and befriend faithfulness.” (Psalm 37:1-3)
As news continues to come in about the shooting at The University of Virginia last night, our hearts are devastated.
We ask with the psalmist, “How long?”
We cry out, ‘Lord. Why?’
Friends, let’s come together and pray. We will open the sanctuary at 6:45 pm and then begin evening prayer at 7 pm. All our welcome. Feel free to bring friends and neighbors who need to pray.
My heart and flesh cry out
