Sunday Announcements – February 7, 2016
- Monday Playgroup Come join caregivers and kids (preschool age and below) at Restoration on Mondays from 10am-11:30 for playtime and fellowship. Please bring your own snack. All are welcome! Contact Heather Brooms at heatherd22@gmail.com with questions.
- Pray for Cambodia in the fellowship hall on Mon, Feb 8, at 7:30pm.
- The Pancake Parish Meeting: It’s Shrove Tuesday on Feb 9, so we will eat pancakes from 5:30pm to 7 followed by our Parish Meeting which will start right at 7. Nursery care will be provided during the Parish Meeting.
- Ash Wednesday services will be offered Feb 10 at 6:30am, 12pm, and 7:30pm. Nursery will be available for the 12 and 7:30 services.
- Lent Readiness: As we prepare for Lent, we invite you to the following opportunities: processional (volunteers are needed), Morning prayer (Wednesdays at 7am with confession available at 8am), Evensong (Sundays 7pm), reading together (Back to Virtue), and posting pics on Instagram together (#restoarts).
- Selah Exploration Day – Do you feel called to the ministry of spiritual direction? We invite you to join us and explore this unique certificate training program in spiritual direction on Saturday, Feb. 13 from 9am – 2pm at the church. - Interested in Mission? Join a group from restoration going to New wineskins http://www.newwineskins.org/ the BEST Anglican missionary conference. Every three years Anglicans gather from around the world. Not to be missed. April 7-10. See Liz for more details. Scholarships available. The Blaines will be there…
- Bolivia! This July 1-11, Restoration will make its first official mission trip to Cochabamba, Bolivia, where we’ll build relationships and refresh the workers at La Trinidad (the local Anglican church) and Niños con Valor (a children’s ministry for at-risk youth). - Immigration Legal Aid: Join us Tues, Feb 16, 7:30pm-9 in the fellowship hall to hear about Restoration’s plans to “welcome the stranger” and how to volunteer.
- After-Service Prayer Training is on Feb 28 from 1:30pm to 4 at Restoration. Join this team who regularly prays for the needs of our community after each worship service.
