Register now for the Fall Retreat!
Hey Everyone, here is an update from Mary Vinson who is coordinating our annual fall retreat!
Just a reminder that forms are available at church and on line for our first ever Restoration Fall Retreat. It’s a weekend you are not going to want to miss, Oct. 16-17-18.
Early birds catch the worm with discounted prices if you register before August 15! As we mentioned before, Rod Handley who leads a ministry called “Character That Counts” will be our speaker for the weekend. He is a terrific guy who hails from Missouri and speaks all over the country on what it means to have character and be accountable to others.
All ages are welcome, as we will have programs for kids as well as adults, fun activities and lots of good food and snacks (what’s a retreat without lots of good food and snacks?).
It’s apple time in the Shenandoah Valley in the fall, so imagine those good crisp apples as you take a walk on the beautiful property where Massanetta Springs is located (right in Harrisonburg Va.) .
It’s only about an hour and forty five minute drive from Arlington. We can’t wait to see you there!

The Swisher family has never been on a church retreat before, but we are all REALLY looking forward to (hopefully) blowing off work, kids’ sports and most of our daily responsibilities in favor of relaxing in the mountains and making deeper connections with those in the RAC community. And if we so happen to learn something along the way, bonus! :>

How can we get in touch with you Mary if we want to help with retreat planning? I don’t have your 411.
Thanks!

Thanks so much Mary Ann. The best way to get in touch with any of us is through the contact link way up there on the right hand side of our website. It sends an email directly to the staff and we can get you to the appropriate person. We don’t have email addresses on the website because of those nasty web bots that troll for email addresses and spam ’em to death. I’ll send you her email address as well.

My app. will be in the mail tomorrow. Getting excited for autumnal things: apple cider, colorful trees, the first sweater day, and the RAC retreat! It’ll be great to scamper off for a weekend in the mountains with church family.

the Hankes are right behind ya, Erica. We just put ours in the mail today. Remember everybody, we have plenty of fund for scholarships if that is a need. We want everyone who wants to be there to be able to go.
