Children

We love kids and we are honored to come alongside and encourage families to witness the power of the Holy Spirit as our kids grow in their love of God and trust in Jesus.

On Sundays, we make space for kids and leaders — nursery through 5th grade — to encounter the LORD and wonder about all that He has to say to us as we meet in small groups tailored to kids’ varying abilities and needs.

We believe that: God knows you (Genesis 1:27; Psalm 139:1-4, 13-14). He is crazy about you (John 10:11). He goes with you everywhere (Matthew 28:20).

Our kids’ small groups are a taste of what it’s like to live a life with Christ — reading the Bible and wondering about who God is and how we respond to Him, all while being together with others to pray and play, too.

Sundays @ 9 & 11am: Kids are always welcome to join their families for worship in the sanctuary. And we also have kids’ small groups during each service, too! Kids nursery through 5th grade meet in small groups on Sunday mornings. Nursery-aged kids (those not yet 3 by September 30, 2021) are welcome in the nursery throughout the whole service — just check in down the hall on the first floor. Preschoolers through 5th graders, and the grownups who love them, check in with their kids’ small group leaders on the first floor before heading up to the sanctuary for the opening worship. When kids are dismissed to go to their small groups, they meet their leaders outside the sanctuary and head downstairs to their small group rooms. Preschool through 5th graders return to the sanctuary in time for the Eucharist. Nursery-aged kids are picked up after the service.

Check here for our COVID-19 protocols for kids.

Storytime on Tuesday @ 10: Every Tuesday (unless it’s raining), we gather at Oak Grove Park to share stories and songs. Bring a blanket and a buddy, then stay to play!

Anytime: Tune in to Pray & Ponder, our podcast for kids and the grownups who love them.
