In lieu of a pickleball tournament this summer due to Arlington County’s refusal to rent out courts, we will be enjoying a church-wide Kickball Tournament and Picnic on the afternoon of Sunday, July 23rd, 3:30–6:30 pm.
Join us for an afternoon of kickball and picnicking at Oak Grove Park, just down the street from the church, across from the W&L parking lot. We’ll begin the tournament at 3:30pm and play til 6:00pm, complete with a fast-moving bracket and some shorter than usual (think 23 minute) games. Come anytime in the afternoon to watch the games, play at the park + field, and we’ll start serving food around 4:30 pm. If you’re picnicking, please bring a side to share – we’ll handle the grilled meats, cold desserts, and chilled drinks. All friends + neighbors are welcome!
