We want to give you an opportunity to ask questions about love. To get perspectives from panelists who know what it means to be single, divorced and dating, and newly married. You can learn more about the panelists here.  To remember that, whatever your relationship status: you are not alone, your feelings are valid, and God cares about your love life too.

You’re invited to ask whatever you like. Whatever questions come to mind. Here are a few to get you going:

  • What are the biggest issues facing individuals looking for a relationship today?
  • What are the advantages and disadvantages of using dating apps?
  • What if I feel called to be single? What if I feel called to be in a relationship, but I haven’t found the right person yet?
  • How should we think about the pressures of family planning while trying to identify someone to build a family with?
  • Why don’t we talk more about dating and relationships within the Church?

You may submit anonymous questions here.

We know that questions will surface during the conversation, and we’ll have index cards you can write on and send to the panel. Remember, if you’re wondering something, someone else probably is, too.

Come by yourself, or come with a group. This is a good time to invite curious, doubtful, skeptical friends. But however you come, know that you won’t be alone. Join us as we dive into the questions sitting on our minds and hearts. You don’t want to miss it!

We’ll have food and drinks. Dinner will be served at 6:30, and the program will begin at 7. Please RSVP by Tuesday, April 11 if you’ll be joining us for dinner.

This is huge! Thank you so very much! Being a divorced Christian middle-aged woman puts me in a strange category. I appreciate the opportunity to find common understanding and belonging through this opportunity! Thank you!

Your slide in the service says it’s only for 20s and 30s but I haven’t seen that condition anywhere else. Seems strange if you’re talking about divorce.

Thanks for your comment, Greg. We are co-sponsoring this event with the local DC chapter of the Navigators, called Nav20s/30s, which is what you saw on Sunday’s slide. However, we hope folks of all ages and life stages attend this event.
