I would love to know about the collar. No only whether or not it itches, but what are the “rules” about wearing it? Everyday? Only while doing church business? At the beach? Do you have only one or are they plentiful like socks? Do you have a special collar drawer in your Jesus dresser? How does one clean a collar? Seriously, I have always wanted to know these things, but was too embarrassed to ask. i will try to come up with some more “intellectual” questions to post later.

Is there more you can share about small group life at RAC? For example, why is the church committed to small groups? What’s the compelling vision?

I’m inspired by Jennie’s penetrating collar questions. Why did you wear a white robe during the Ash Wednesday service? Why not every Sunday? When do you next plan to wear it? Do you ever wear it around the house?

Thanks for offering this sort of townhall meeting. Two questions:

    1. What is your picture of an ideal RAC parishioner?

    2. You’ve mentioned and it’s been shared in small group that there will be confirmation on Palm Sunday. What action should we take to pursue that?

    More questions:

    1. Small Groups – Who is “eligible” to be in a small group? Can non RAC parishioners sign up? Why do small groups “close” after a period of time? I am feeling led to lead a small group. How do I go about signing up to be a small group leader?
    2. How can I get prayer? For example, if I want my concern to be prayed for during “Prayers of the People” or if I have confidential prayer concerns. What is the deal with prayers at the rail? Will those prayer be kept confidential? How do I go about coming up for PAR? What do I have to say or do? Will I have to pray out loud? Do the PAR people bite? What makes PAR prayers qualified to do that job?

    Awesome!

Does “passing the peace” really pass the peace? If I have an issue with someone, does passing the peace take care of it? If not, what is it for?

If the Bible doesn’t have a “Christian Calendar” (I don’t think it does, does it?) why do we follow one?
