Children of Restoration
I love to see the way God moves in the hearts of His people. And — especially in my line of work — the way God moves in the hearts of children.
After the earthquake in Haiti, the discussions downstairs in children’s ministry during small group time were filled with questions and compassion. The over-arching thought being, “What can we do to help the children of Haiti?” Our children made cards which were delivered to children in Haiti by our own Mary Ann Calhoun. Our children prayed for the children in Haiti. And, then, Gabe had an idea: “Let’s have a bake sale!” So, Gabe, here it is!
This Sunday, the children of Restoration are providing the post-service treats. There will be a basket on the treat table inviting you to give a donation. Money collected will be given to World Vision, specifically for them to use to help displaced children in Haiti.
As a community desiring to connect people to God, to others, and to the needs of the world, we encourage you to join our children in giving to those in need.
How is God moving in your heart?

It is so exciting to see God moving in the hearts of our Restoration children. Looking forward to the bake sale on Sunday. Listening to all the children share last night at our first West Virginia Mission trip meeting was an incredible blessing.

I especially enjoyed Samuel Obitts’ blueberry muffins with the crumbly topping.
