A New Perspective
A post from Global Outreach Team member Mary Ann Calhoun:
“What’s Perspectives? Isn’t it that the class for people who are into missions?”
Actually, it’s for everyone (especially for folks in church plants!) who want to see God’s Kindgom expand locally and globally! It will enrich and infuse your own walk with God by drawing you into the larger story of how God has been working and will continue to work to build His church. (Hint: he’s doing that mostly through church planting!)
I first took Perspectives while I was in Africa, where I spent several months in Senegal working as a nurse on a YWAM (Youth With a Mission) Mercy Ship. That was a long time ago, and now that I have a chance to take it again, I’m looking forward to getting my eyes and heart opened to a bigger picture of God’s Kingdom work and how I fit into what He is doing.
If we get a group of Restoration folks together to take it, we may have a dinner and prayer group that meets a few times during the course as well.
If you have any questions, drop a comment below or contact me or Liz Gray!
The Perspectives on the World Christian Movement course runs January 10- May 9 at The Falls Church.
You can attend to first two classes for free so check it out! Register here.

This is such a good course. Simon and I did it a couple of years ago and it expanded our understanding, knowledge and hearts for mission in so many ways. If you can – do it!

Mike and I took this class several years ago and it literally changed our lives! We hope to take advantage of the free drop-ins for alumni and attend a few classes this session.

Laurel and I took it for grad credit the year after we got married. It really opened us up to what God is doing around the world and how we can be a part of it. The reading list is incredible.
