    David,

I can only echo your thoughts and comments about Mike. Mike took time to share many similar conversations, similar encouragements, and similar lunches with me over the years. He encouraged me to live out and to live into my faith in every aspect of my life – as a man, a husband, and a father but also in my work and in ministry. We first met through TFC’s Men’s Ministry. Knowing Mike and how he lived his faith in Christ, Mona and I asked Mike to be Matthew’s God-father. To me he was a big brother in the faith. I am thankful for the gift God gave to all of us in Mike.

David, thank you for opening your heart to the congregation each Sunday. I appreciate your willingness to share experiences from your life with us as a church family. Sorry to hear of your loss but glad to hear that you had the opportunity to know and grow with such a good friend and mentor.

    David,

We need in the flesh examples of contemporary disciples who grow disciples as Restoration continues to become such a community living this life together. Thanks for giving us this and for your weekly teaching us the vision that Jesus had for us.

    David-
Great to see you today at Mike’s funeral. You truly captured Mike’s best and most abundant gifts in your comments above. I will miss that big smile at TFC on Sundays. He was a dear friend of my family’s and he truly will be missed!
